Sony’s Aibo likely springs to mind when you think of toy robots. But Sharp’s also called RoBoHon has its own. And an upgrade is being made.
RoBoHon is a robot-clothed smartphone. The little robot operates as a mobile, but it does more with a screen for a stomach. The initial model might be able to move and speak for alerts and more. It even had a projector in its face, so it could lean forward and project larger images on surfaces. This was helpful to view pictures after a recipe or merely as a new hands-free alternative. Unfortunately, the first model was limited to Japan.
